In addition to my legal and governmental backgrounds, I am an avid and constant tourist, and owner of Wanderology, a luxury travel concierge service. I live in Oyster Bay with my husband, our 13 year old son and our two dogs.
A former Assistant District Attorney in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office, Rebecca served as lead trial counsel for both felony and misdemeanor cases, including narcotics, gang violence and assaults.
Thereafter, Rebecca spent several years as in house counsel for Auto One Insurance, a subsidiary of One Beacon, representing third party defendants in automobile claims. As such, she made appearances throughout the court system in New York State.
Most recently, Rebecca has managed her own legal practice for more than a decade, with areas of specialty including real estate transactions, land use, municipal zoning and planning. During this time, Rebecca also served as an assigned attorney for indigent criminal defendants, was appointed as a Guardian ad Litem to the Nassau County Surrogate's Court where she was assigned to represent disabled or incapacitated persons in estate planning matters.
From 2010-2019 Rebecca served on the Oyster Bay Town Board as a Councilwoman, an elected position representing over 300,000 residents.
In 2019 Rebecca began an appointed term on the Zoning Board of Appeals, responsible hearing a variety of applications regarding local planning and land use.
This highly specialized government experience combined with Rebecca's undergraduate degree in Urban Planning and Development make her uniquely qualified to consult and represent clients on a variety of applications, zoning matters and municipal legal matters.
Rebecca is a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, and Connecticut College in New London, CT.
